Attention Indonesian coffee Lovers, New North Sumatra- Sidikalang!

In the Cup: A sweeter cleaner Sumatra with notes of fruit while still having that big Sumatra Body that you Sumatra lovers are lookin' for...

Much of the Arabica coffee produced in Sumatra has traditionally been defined as 'Lintong' and 'Mandheling'. These old-fashioned heirloom descriptions, however, tell little of the provenance and even less of the quality.

The coffee that we source from Sidikalang is produced by many small growers around the town of Sidikalang. The various smallholdings are situated at around 1200m above sea level to the west of Lake Toba in North Sumatra Province. This is the region which produces much of the coffee which is traditionally marketed at ‘Lintong’ (named after a small town to the south of the lake).

This new lot is 100% Rasuna varietal and is milled at Wahana Estate.
